SUNNIE'S & Swayde's is a locally owned Mexican restaurant and coffee shop, located a block away from Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach.
Sunset Cliffs has always been the owners favorite place in San Diego and even named their daughter 'Sunset', after this landmark. When it came time to name the restaurant which is located so close to Sunset Cliffs, it only made sense to name it SUNNIE'S after their daughter.
SUNNIE'S was established with three main priorities:
1) Serving the freshest Mexican cuisine daily
2) Giving our patrons the friendliest service in town
3) Offering a laid back and fun atmosphere
Our Food
We take great pride in serving the freshest Mexican cuisine every day. Everything is made in house and nothing is ever shipped in. Even our three homemade salsas are made from scratch and are never frozen or have preservatives added.
This is why we believe our customers continue to come back because you truly can taste the difference.
We offer healthy options, taco specials and even have vegan & vegetarian items.
